How does ApTap work?

ApTap connects to your bank accounts using our trusted third party provider; SaltEdge ©. We retreive your banking data through them, which we process to automatically detect your recurring payments. ApTap then organises these recurring payments onto a calendar for you, so you know what you are paying for, how much you are paying, when the money is being taken and from what bank account. ApTap then allows you to cancel the majority of the services we detect either by sending a cancellation request email for you.

How does ApTap cancel susbcriptions / direct debit?

ApTap does not cancel direct debit payments through your bank. Rather than just cancelling the direct debit payment, ApTap contacts your service provider directly and cancels the contract/service on your behalf. This ensures that both the service and the direct debit is cancelled so you don't get any surprise charges.
